2008 - Starting Fresh
My first blog page was okay, but we had a mishap, so we're trying this again.

Speaking of new beginnings, I tried something I've never done before - I cooked my first turkey (courtesy of my in-laws finding a smashing after-Thanksgiving sale.) So far, we haven't had food poisoning, and it didn't deflate like the turkey in "Christmas Vacation." I truly feared that was going to happen, and I'd have a carcass on my hands, and Rob would have to run over to Burger King for an emergency back-up dinner. But all was well, and there will be turkey sandwiches for the next few days...
